This lively little Mountain crossing is the first wilderness area in the Shiara region on the way to Portreak Town. It bustles with the activity of many Rock and Fighting type Pokemon, and is also home to a variety of Flying type nests.

This is possibly the most recognizable expanse of grassland in the entire Shiara region. Not only does this grassland stretch for a long while, it marks the barrier between pure wilderness and civilization. Trainers who find their way to Cirrus City are on the right path, but others may find themselves lost and wandering toward the vast majority of the uninhabited stretches of the region.

Perhaps the most jarring in changes from the grasslands is directly to snowy forests as far as the eye can see. At night, the skies above these forests come alive with vibrant dancing lights, and as such are aptly named the Aurora Forests. These forests are home to many vast varieties of Grass and Ice type Pokemon living in perfect harmony.
