When raising a Pokemon, it is important to take note of its nature, or temperament. There are twenty-five different natures that Pokemon have exhibited, many of which effect how they grow. Below, you will find a list of all twenty-five natures, each described thoroughly.
Now that you've learned what your pokemon's 'strengths and weaknesses' are based on their nature, let's take a look at berry preferences. If you plan on becoming a pokemon coordinator, you should probably base what type of contest you enter them in based on their nature.
Pokemon with neutral natures, bashful, docile, hardy, quirky, and serious, have no particular like or dislike, and so will gain the normal amount of stats with each pokeblock eaten.
Pokemon who like spicy pokeblocks, which raise their coolness, are those of adamant, brave, lonely, and naughty nature. Notice that all of these pokemons' natures raise the attack higher. The pokemon who dislike spicy pokeblocks are of bold, calm, modest, and timid. Notice that all of these pokemons' natures make their attack rise more slowly.
