Whoa, slow down there for a second, hotshot. There a few rules you need to keep in mind if you're taking on the Gym Challenge.
Number 1: If you lose to a Gym Leader, you lose. There is no exception to this rule.
Number 2: You cannot take on the same Gym Leader twice in a row. If you lost the first time to Brock, you'll have to wait 2 days before you can challenge Brock again.
Number 3: There is to be no cheating of any sorts in a match with a Gym Leader/Elite Four/Champion. Anything deemed remotely as cheap or some kind of trick will immediately disqualify the challenger and may lead to even more serious consequences.
Number 4: You cannot take on the Gym Challenge in two different regions at the same time. You can, however, have collected all the badges from each region and participate in each Pokemon League Challenge at the same time.
Number 5: While your team may be tough, they are certainly not invincible in any way, shape, or form. Be realistic in these fights. Remember that the Trainers you are facing as just as strong as you, if not stronger. Not everyone always wins!
Number 6: You may encounter Gym Leaders/Elite Four Members/Champions outside of challenging them to a battle. If you would like to have one of these occurrences, please make sure to ask Staff first, so we can locate the respective member who plays that specific person. You may NOT battle this person outside of their League/Gym.
Number 7: As with Gym Leaders, if you lose in the knockout challenge of the Elite Four, in any League, there is a cool down before you can challenge them again. This cool down is a minimum of 5 days. This includes losing to the Champion.
Number 8: So you've got one badge, huh? That's great, but you can't just rush onto the next Gym right away. You must give a period of at least 1 full day between each time you get a badge. This means you CAN challenge the next Gym Leader, but you can't win unless that cool down is up.
Number 9: While it's great to be alive and feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins in a heated fight with your favorite Gym Leader or E4 member, remember that this is only a game, and as such is not to be treated as real life. If you lose, oh well! You can try again soon! If you win, do not obsessively boast about it. Your Trainer may be sad that he/she lost, but not excessively. The same goes with winning.
Number 10: This is a rule to be interpreted more so by the person who plays that respective Leader/Member/Champ. If you want to have more personal relations with a certain person, you should ask the player of that person; not Staff. What they choose to do with their characters is entirely up to them. HOWEVER, if a member is deemed not worthy of that person anymore, they will be stripped of them and anything that had been going on will no longer continue.
So...how exactly do you fight a Gym Leader? Or Champion? Or Elite Four member?
Go to the region you're itching for a fight in. Find your Leader/Member/Champ. (Note that you can't face Elite Four members before you have collected all the Badges; like wise, you cannot fight the Champion without having beat all E4 members.) Gym Leaders' topics are usually their badge names, but in the case of Shiara, are the names of the actual Gym Leaders. But don't post in that topic; When you're taking on a Gym Leader, post your challenge in a new topic. The member who plays that person will accept your challenge and then you're on your way!
The rules don't change or vary either for Elite Four and Champion. Same as Gym Leader, post in a new topic with your challenge.
